Regional Funding Resources There
are seven regional arts organizations in the U.S. and its territories.
These organizations are private non-profit organizations that work in
close cooperation with the National Endowment for the Arts and state art
agencies in their region. Programs and services vary greatly from
region to region. Their funding support tends to be more limited
than state arts agencies, often targeting specific activities such as
touring support or artists fellowships, but they can be useful resources.
For instance, Western States Arts Federation (WESTAF) has a folklife page
on their website with a series of regional and national links and other
information worth checking out (www.westaf.org/annotatedarts.php). Arts
